POMP is a family-owned and operated USA based flower company, they approached UWP to design and build their new ecommerce website. Pomp had over 30 years of experience nurturing and growing roses for wholesale, they were ready to bring their mesmerising arrangements flower arranging to the world of ecommerce. Their flowers are carefully grown in Bogota, Colombia, they are sustainable grown from seed to stem, they are given a variety-specific attention to meet their every need, from cutting methods to soil nutrients to transport.

  • When launching a new website, the number one challenge is bringing the story to life. POMP had a logo, a colour palette, iconography and creative imagery, but they needed UWP to tie it all together. The team already knew they loved Shopify, having used it for another of their ecommerce ventures. They wanted to launch a fast turnaround website for Mother’s Day which was a soft launch for their new brand release. The official brand launch was weeks away after the first launch which helped us develop learnings and data to inform the full website launch.

  • Pomp had their branding design readily made by Red Antler a New York based design studio before approaching UWP, however the challenge was to bring their design elements to life in a full ecommerce experience. The aim was to create a brand experience that conveyed the brand values of ‘extravagant, connoisseurs and above & beyond’. The branding elements then needed to be pulled together into one conversion-driving website. So our UX/UI designers took their brand guidelines away, and wireframed a store that would boost sales. We fused UX essentials, such as seamless page structure and clear calls to action, with powerful POMP moments, including eye-catching transitions and subtle animations.
